Our Vision
Every school should have a vision of what they want for their pupils and the school community, and the vision should be the driving force behind all decisions made at the school. We last looked at our vision in 2019 and felt it was time to revisit the vision in September 2023 to see if it was still relevant. The staff team, along with a governor and Father Barrie, Deputy Director for Education from the Birmingham Diocese, met to look over the vision and discuss what it is we want for our children and the community. Together we have developed the vision statement below and this vision will be what we consider when making any decisions for the children. As we are a Church of England school, our vision does need to be rooted in Christian theology, but we are really aware that our community is made up of many different faith backgrounds and this is really important to us. At no time do we ever try to undermine the faith that the children are being brought up with.
Our School Vision
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
At Holy Trinity CE Primary Academy our distinctive Christian values are at the heart of all we do. Through our curriculum and care our children develop independent curiosity, acquire a life-long appetite for learning and become well-rounded individuals, seeking ‘hope and a future’ for themselves and others.
Our Values
At the same time as looking at our vision for the school, we also looked at the values that we teach the children throughout the year. We wanted to ensure that our values match the vision that we have. We have chosen 6 values and we will focus on one value per half term. These are values that will will resonate with all families of all different heritages and faith backgrounds.
